I’m starting this week with a recap on some of my favorites from Buckle this month. I went shopping there last week and I was so amazed at some of the great spring pieces.
I’ve written before about how great the customer service is there and how much fun I’ve had working with them on some style shoots for social media. I did want to point out, that a lot of you may not know they carry Free People, Daytrip, Freebird and even Puma! The store has so many stylish brands all in one place and that’s why shopping there is such a treat for me.
This month, I looked for summer pieces that are really light. I know that Nebraska is about to heat up and the last thing I want to do is sweat when I’m headed to meetings downtown or in and out of the office.
So here we go!
The first piece I put on layaway are perfect sandals for everyday! I picked them up from the store last week and I can’t take them off my feet (seriously, I fell asleep on the bed taking a nap wearing them). The Freebird by Steven Penny Sandal is a bit pricier but you get what you pay for with these babies! I suggest going down a size because the sandals are leather and when you wear them, over time, they loosen up a bit. You can pair them with pretty much anything in your closet! These are my staple sandals for summer.
Okay, I paired the Freebird sandals with another favorite on the list this month. I bought a Miss Me floral dress that I adore! I can throw it on for summer and not worry about putting on anything else! It’s light and easy to wear and the sleeves roll up perfectly. I also love that it’s not too long but also not too short so I feel perfectly comfortable wearing it pretty much anywhere.
Gilded Intent Raw Edge Top:
I rarely spend more than $15 on a graphic tee but this one is edgy and cool and it’s also super soft. I love that I can layer it with a black bandeau and also pair it with heels for a night out or with tennis shoes if I’m running errands. I wore it with the Freebird Sandals because like I said, those sandals go with anything.
My Free People ensemble:
Last week when I was shopping at Buckle, I tried on the Free People Liza Sports Bralette and then I paired a mesh tank from Free People over it, with matching activewear pants also, again from Free People. It’s my favorite activewear outfit in my closet. This ensemble is definitely a little sexier but I’ve had so many people compliment me on it so far!
That’s all of my favorites for this month! Drop a comment below and let me know what your thoughts are!
