We are in full swing sweater season and as the temperature drops lower and lower every day, we’re all searching for warmer sweaters to keep ourselves cozy. I found a few I wanted to share on the blog and unfortunately, one of them is sold out, but I’ll tell you how to snag something just like it at a great price.
First off, I’m going to share a secret with all of you: for the first time, I purchased a sweater for FULL price and I spent about a $100 on this ONE SWEATER (something normal Natalie would never do). I bought it in Chicago from Nordstrom and this Hinge Longline Cardigan that you can find online still is AMAZINGLY soft and worth every penny I spent on it. The sleeves puff out at the perfect length and give it a little vintage feel but make no mistake about it, this sweater looks stylish an trendy. So far, I’ve worn it about 100 times, which is why I was willing to buy it in the first place. Ya’ll know that I never spend full price on anything but this exception of the rule left me with no regrets.
The second sweater I bought recently from Urban Outfitters during their sale online. A couple of times a year, Urban Outfitters sends an email telling its customers that they’re offering a 40% discount on their sale. It’s one of the best deals I’ve seen in the retail world and I always end up snagging sweaters like this grey one with ruffles, for under $15. While this sweater is sold out, I highly suggest you get on their Urban Rewards email list and stay alert! I can tell you that the store WILL HAVE ANOTHER SALE around January when they clear out all of their inventory and that one is typically their best of the year. You don’t want to miss it, folks!
This last sweater is on sale at Von Maur (I snagged it in the sale) for $35. The sweater is a little throwback with a 70’s vibe and it’s by Billabong. I love the way that it pairs with high waisted jeans and I plan to throw a trucker jacket over it in the winter. It’s not the warmest sweater — I’ll be honest about that. But, you can layer this with so many different things, (i.e. a longer duster cardigan) and it’s a steal for the price. This sweater is also great for transitional seasons like winter to spring or fall to winter. You can find the sweater in stores at Von Maur right now!
So there you go! No matter where you’re located, one of these sweaters should work for you and hey, 2 out of 3 on sale isn’t bad, right? Drop me a line and let me know your thoughts!
