My Review On Kissbobo’s Silicone Bra
It’s probably the number one problem most of us have when we decide to dress up: finding the right bra. I’ve definitely gone to Victoria’s Secret and spent about $50 on bra cutlets to wear because I waited last minute and I have a party or event that night. But, I am always on the hunt for a good deal and I hate wasting money on something I’ll rarely wear.
Kissbobo was awesome enough to send me their silicone adhesive bra and I think, especially for the price, it can get the job done. It’s only $11.99 and linked below. (https://www.amazon.com/Kissbobo-Strapless-Invisible-Adhesive-Silicone/dp/B01G78Q0RU?th=1&psc=1) The price is so affordable for the every girl.
The brand came on the scene in 2005 and touts itself as brand with “the most professional R&D and production technology” that “designed a new generation of silicone push up invisible bras to cover the multiple demands of women and girls.”
Needless to say, with that kind of description, I was excited to try it!
The first thing that I noticed when my bra arrived, was that it came in a nice see through case. It’s such a small detail but I love that I have a nice little case to keep the bra in under my bathroom sink. On the back of the bag, there’s really specific instructions about what to do before you put the bra on which is also great, because I ALWAYS lose the paper instructions that come with products.
If you’re purchasing an item like this, definitely MAKE SURE you read those instructions before you put it on. I wore the bra with a simple, blousy tank top out for brunch one day. It was nice that I didn’t have to put on a bandeau or another tank top underneath what I was wearing. I felt the bra did a solid job of staying on for four hours. I did have to go to the bathroom and adjust it once (but typically I have to do that with strapless bras too so this wasn’t a big surprise to me). I will say though, that near the end of the afternoon, I was ready to slip into something a tad more comfortable. When I took the bra off, it looked like I could definitely reuse it at least two more times. The adhesive was still pretty sticky.
I think for the price, my honest opinion is that it’s well worth it to pick up a couple of these for nights out when you realize, you just can’t wear a bra. The price is great and during the summer, I typically go out a LOT more, so I always want to have the right bra on hand for any occasion. For me personally, I didn’t feel like it made my chest look any bigger than it is (which is fine by me) so if you’re looking for an adhesive bra that gives you a little push up, I may look at other options. I’m a 34D though, so I do feel that it’s difficult to find strapless or adhesive bras that do.
I’m definitely excited to see how the bra holds up when I wear it a second or third time! Have you tried this brand? Do you have a personal favorite go-to strapless, no show bra? Drop a line in the comments and let me know!
